.Holding your hamster.
you need to bee very gentle when holding a pet hamster.
if you annoy it by swinging it around, tickling it or squeezing it, it will pounce out off your hands and land on the floor.
TIP!
when its the first time you hold a hamster, sit somewhere not to high from the ground.
if its a wooden or stone floor the hamster will fall from your hands if your not carefully and brake a bone in its body when it lands on the floor.
lets carry on with holding your hamster then.
here are the instructions step by step from the day you bought your hamster:
INSTRUCTIONS
1) when the hamster is ready in the cage, give it some food from your hands.keep doing that instruction day by day until you think your hamster is used to your smell.
2) try to scoop up the hamster in your hands very, very gently.when the hamster enters your hands try to hold it close as possible to your chest but don't over do it or the hamster might get squashed or fall out of your hands.
3) put one of your hands on top of the hamster.
TIP!
if you want, you can put the hamster on your lap and let it run around.like that,it will get more used to you and know your not dangerous and wont bite you.
